Software 4.2

Software version 4.2 is a revised version of IntuiLink for PSG/ESG Signal Generators. 

Software 4.2 Enhancements

·        Added support for Options 601 and 602 internal baseband generators with digital bus capability for the E4438C ESG.

·        Added support for Option 602 internal baseband generator with digital bus capability for the E8267C PSG. 

·        Added the ability to upload encrypted waveforms from the signal generator.  This gives the user the ability to transfer waveforms from a signal generator  to a computer and download this waveform to another signal generator. 

o       The E4438C ESG requires firmware C.03.30 or later to use this functionality.

o       The E8267C PSG requires firmware C.03.31 or later to use this functionality. 

Software 4.2 Issues Resolved

·         The “.com” in the TCP/IP address string is no longer misinterpreted.

Software 4.0

Software 4.0 Enhancements

·         Added support for  the following model numbers:

o        E8247C

o        E8257C

o        E8267C

·         From the Download Waveform  menu, renamed the file Type from "E443xB internal values"  to "14-bit internal values", and "E4438C internal values" to "16-bit internal values".  The "14-bit internal values" waveform type should be selected for binary waveforms formatted for the E443xB and the "16-bit internal values" waveform type should be selected  for binary waveforms formatted for the E4438C and the E8267C.

Software 4.0 Issues Resolved

·         Updated software to prevent "Signatures have expired" warning message from appearing every time an Office application was launched.

·         Conversion from 14-bit internal values to 16-bit internal values modified so that the UNLEVEL is no longer displayed on the ESG during this operation.
